On the way home a few weeks back, I had to wait at the Vegas airport for the shuttle. Since I'm way into this book I decided to spend some time taking these pictures.

Really feeling the square lately. This one is from about a month ago or more when I got my Hasselblad fixed. Nerd Alert!!!! I love my Hasselblad 500C/M and my Leica M6. No matter what happens, I'll never sell either.

So, when all the stuff in the posts below was going down....somebody called the cops. They were wondering why we were out in the desert destroying stuff but didn't really seem to care that we were. Everything was cool as long as we picked up after ourselves when we were done. Keaton told the cop that he was getting married on Sunday and this was his bachelor party. To which the officer replied, "Marriage huh? I've been down that road. Welcome to Hell buddy" and away they went.

Florescent Light Sabers. Yes, I've seen the Ed Templeton foto of the same thing but I didn't set this one up in an attempt to copy his (much better) photo of the same content. It just worked out that way.

Hasselblads are magnificent beasts. The world has too many sharp photos taken with them. So I focus soft, yo.

I shot these photos about two years ago with my 4x5 camera. At the time I didn't really have a way to scan them other than scan them in pieces and the merge them together with software. The film I used expired in 1992. Dirt sticks to it pretty good but other than that I can't complain about the film. These photos are dirty, underexposed (my shutter speeds were off and I didn't know it) and shot with a 60 year old camera. Maybe "antiqued" is en vogue.(check the signs in the photo...pun originally unintended).
