I spent the last weekend of summer down in Southern Utah where I grew up.

Sean and I went for sushi at Ninja.

Ye olde rangefinder vs. SLR faceoff (this post for camera nerds.

I went to the Santa Clara skatepark with Tyson and Ern. This park kind of sucks but was actually really fun because our crew was proper.

Ern didn't want his picture taken.

We tried to jam into this bar without ollieing in every which combo. Tyson did a "Puleo" transfer.

I jammed a feeble.

Tyson said I wasn't a real photographer unless I shot the sunset.

Proper crew. Overall, a pretty good weekend to say goodbye to summer. Hello fall!

Looks like a crappy park that would be fun to mess around on. So who won the faceoff?

I won. It takes some getting used to but now I can focus a rangefinder before it's even eye level. And all those years of shooting film made me good at "guessing" exposure.
