Sometimes two wheels are better than four.

1. Someone opened the door right as I took this photo (hence the 10:30)
2. Smoking is lame (it causes Cancer! and Cancer sucks....trust me) but it looks kind of cool in photos(??)

Color film?

One of my favorite skateboard companies of yesteryear was 101. They had the good stuff...Jason Dill, Gino, and the amazing art direction of Natas. This is post 101 on this blog so I thought I should mention it.

Since I mentioned one of my favorite skate companies, I decided to post a photo of one of my favorite skateboarders. Jovi is "chill".

Sometimes I feel like the man in the crowd. Just another face, nothing that stands out. For a while I felt like I was special but now I know I'm just another face in the crowd.

I still love you but I don't know if you'll ever see this. Thanks for staying with me all these years.

I've been walking around downtown a lot with my camera....more to come....

Round 2......

I like these ones a bit better than the last post but still not incredibly satisfied.  

A few things I need to do....

1. Frame my shot then take two steps closer(?)

2.  Mix new developer so everything isn't so underexposed.

3. Keep trying until it's not so horrible.

Street Photography.....

I've always wanted to be a "street photographer".  So, one very cold day this week, I went downtown with my M6 and shot (almost) a whole roll of film. I don't really care for most of these images because I feel like I should've gotten closer on almost every shot.  Also, I don't really enjoy color film and would have preferred to have used Tri-X (my camera already had film in it).

Dear Diary,

Interesting what the world has become thanks to the world wide interweb.  Last sunday, we went to skate a spot and I was walking to my car to get my coffee when someone came around the corner, saying "the police are here".  In an attempt to avoid a ticket, me and some dudes piled into my car and drove to the nearest 7-11.   As we left the parking lot, we noticed the cop talking to Scott (pictured below) and writing something.  We figured Scott had been caught and was receiving a skateboarding ticket.  Scott en

ded up meeting us at the Sev a few minutes later and told us that the cop saw his video camera and asked if he was going to be on Youtube.  He was actually writing down the address to Scott's Youtube channel, not giving him a ticket.
